What we need:
Mandatory Skills
- At least 2-4 years of experience in design, development, testing and deployment of bots using Automation Anywhere
- About 2 years of experience of core Enterprise IT topics (e.g. Active Directory, Exchange, networking, Azure, Office 365)
- Desired experience in client-side communications using SOAP, WCF, REST APIs
- Strong technical background dealing with Automation Anywhere spreadsheet manipulation, database navigation, handling basic automation scenarios
- Strong experience in integrating automation tools OCR, Web Recorder for existing robots
- Good experience over Object Oriented Programming principles
- Strong working experience in Design Patterns such as Factory, Abstract Factory, Strategy, MVVM etc
- Strong working experience in Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control principles
- Experience in using development tools such as Visual Studio 2013 or higher, configuration and design tools such as TFS, Visio, UML etc
- Deep understanding of .NET technologies C# 4.0 or higher, MVC, WCF, Automated Unit Testing
- A good understanding of the Applications Lifecycle Management(ALM), with full lifecycle experience, from design through to development, testing and deployment
- A good understanding over eXtreme programming/practices such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Pair programming, Test Drive Development
- Work experience in SQL Server 2012 or higher
- Very strong communication skills are required. Must be capable of interacting with solution architects, other technology teams to identify technology opportunities
- Experience working in agile environment
The RPA Lead role requires the incumbent to be self-motivated to lead/drive innovation in the firm and shape its future using Robotic Process Automation. The person should think ahead to help
business teams adopt the RPA widely and improve the maturity of usage. You must be able to coach the teams on delivery, deployment methodology, change management in order to achieve self-sufficiency. You should be managing the dev/test teams and delivery management to provide the necessary environment for automation success. You should work with technical teams to implement agreed technical standards, technical design and delivery principles. You must ensure the governance on the process and delivery, after creating the implementation roadmaps with stakeholders. You should have the fire to maintain and improve the knowledge at the technology forefront. You will be focussed on building end to end automation process solutions meeting the business needs. The agile practices & principles must be applied to maximize the business value and improve the business delivery.
This role needs someone who can appreciate the big picture not just the current landscape. You will need to not only be hands-on but also explain to others your ideas and the design and integration of the solutions.
Your team working skills will be required to amplify the performance in this role. Good communication skills are mandatory. You should be able to define & contribute quality, coding and other standards for group. The person must have the commitment to complete the solution with good analysing and innovative skills. The zeal to continuously learn new technologies, models, techniques and processes will help the incumbent to stand out from the crowd. Of course, you need to be good in programming skills
- By functioning as integrator between business requirement and technology landscape
- Leading & delivering the automation initiatives for medium/complex business problems
- Partner with cross functional teams to translate technical solutions & evaluations
- Build strong strategic partnerships with key business and IT stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance to other RPA developers
- Improve the overall code base of the applications by ensuring compliance to coding standards and guidelines
- Manage the creation and refinement of automation platform for rapid delivery
- Help to improvise the performance of deployed robotics platform by detailed analysis of RPA incidents
- Accountability of developing and configuring Robotic Process Automation deliveries
- Define and improve technical framework for RPA covering technical aspects like Security, performance, availability, scalability covering application landscape
- Define and implement the required technical & process design documents for development and implementation of RPA
- Manage deployed robotics capabilities, volume scaling, load balancing and agreed SLAs in the production environment
- Installation & configuration Automation BOTs in different environments
- Define & plan the automation approach for medium to large projects factoring the business complexities with a scalable solution design
- Work with QA, test management, change management to produce production readiness
- Providing Operational support for all RPA developments
- Requires Bachelors in Engineering or computer science (MSc or MTech is preferred)
