Experience & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar risk training role within  professional services, preferably the legal sector, is preferred, particularly experience in constructing e-learning courses.
  • Working understanding of relevant legislations globally is desirable, for example; Anti Money Laundering legislation, GDPR, and other relevant legislation.
  • Sound knowledge of the legal profession and it's regulatory framework and codes with experience of risk & compliance issues is preferred.
  • Ability to extract relevant facts and grasp legal issues quickly.
  • Strong academic history.
Communication and presentation skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to and train groups.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to synthesise and summarise complex points.
  • Must possess strong ability to articulate and communicate the Firm's Professional Standards in a way that  is easily  understood by all.
  • Ability to develop a strong working relationship with external statutory bodies and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the Firm including Partners and Office Managing Partners.
General skills:
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to plan and organise effectively in order to meet business priorities.
  • Good IT skills.
