The US Securities team in Paris forms part of the global Capital Markets practice providing legal advice on capital markets transactions across Europe, the US, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. The global ECM and DCM practices are among the global market leaders, meeting the most complex and diverse funding and capital-raising requirements across the whole spectrum of capital markets products.

In Paris the team works closely alongside the Paris-based Equity and Debt Capital Markets practices, as well as with Clifford Chance's Equity and Debt Capital Markets practices across the EMEA region, and provides advice on all aspects of US securities laws and regulations and international capital markets transactions.

Our global network of regulatory and capital markets lawyers is at the forefront of developments that are shaping the market and are working closely with our clients to navigate the sea of regulatory changes.

The US Securities team in Paris is well-known in the market for its ability to offer expertise to meet the continuously evolving and diverse funding requirements of the largest and most innovative institutions across EMEA. We have market-leading experience advising issuers, underwriters, shareholders and private equity sponsors across the whole spectrum of capital markets products including IPOs and rights issues; investment grade and high-yield bonds; Eurobonds and EMTN programmes; sovereign issues and emerging markets issuances.

Skills and Qualification

· You are a lawyer (up to 1 to 4 years' experience) in a Capital Markets practice within a leading law firm or bank, qualified in the US or France, or otherwise qualified to work in a US capital markets practice. Significant experience of ECM or DCM work would be an advantage.

· You will have a strong academic background. A specialized master's degree in international commercial law, or a business management degree would be an asset.

· You will possess perfect drafting skills in English. Proficiency in English is a must for any non-native English speaker. Any additional languages skills would be considered as an asset.

·  You will be well-organised and commercial in your approach. Dynamism, team spirit and communication skills are required qualities in order to progress in a stimulating environment.
