The New York office of Clifford Chance has an opening for a paralegal in the Firm's Real Estate group. Stellar academic credentials and major law firm experience required. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and interpret real estate title, transfer and financing documents
  • Prepare and file UCC Financing Statements
  • Organize and prepare legal files
  • Review legal periodicals and circulate relevant cases and articles
  • Conduct legal research
  • Perform administrative legal responsibilities as required
  • Coordinate and support closings and meetings
  • Prepare closing binders
  • Entity formations
  • Coordinate and review corporate searches (e.g. UCC, lien, litigation, bankruptcy, etc.)


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Four year degree
  • At least 1 year of relevant transactional paralegal experience
  • Courses in paralegal studies a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work paid overtime
