Job Overview



Managing the Graduate Recruitment team to deliver our attraction and selection strategy.



Who you will work with



The Graduate Recruitment team, reporting to the Head of Graduate Talent and the Graduate Partner Committee. The Graduate Development team and various third-party partners. 



What you will be responsible for



You will be responsible for the management and development of the graduate recruitment team with four direct reports. Responsible for delivering the graduate recruitment attraction and selection strategy. 



You will oversee and manage the graduate recruitment team and all related activities.



You will effectively coordinate the delivery of our resourcing policies, processes, procedures and services to meet the needs of the firm.



You will provide specialist advice and dedicated support to meet the resource needs determined by the Graduate Recruitment Partner committee, Practice Area leaders and Senior Management.



You will provide deep specialist knowledge in graduate resourcing and be recognised as the specialist within HR.



What you will do



You will maintain and monitor our selection strategies, to ensure return on investment from events and marketing and to ensure the firm continues to hire exceptional candidates onto its graduate trainee scheme.



You will investigate and advise on new selection methods to ensure we hire the best talent. Subsequent management of all new selection related projects and initiatives.



You will produce and manage all graduate related statistical analysis (with the support of third parties) and dissemination to key stakeholders and graduate teams.



You will regularly report on progress of projects to the Head of Graduate Talent.



You will monitor and report on financial expenditure of the team and ensure that the spend remains in budget and is in line with relevant policies.



You will provide leadership and coaching to the Graduate Recruitment team, setting performance standards, monitoring objectives and day to day performance.



You will facilitate the graduate recruitment specialists' and advisors' continued ownership and responsibility of key projects and strategic elements of the graduate recruitment campaign.



You will have responsibility for at least 2 strategic projects as directed by the Head of Graduate Talent. 



Your career experience so far 



You will be able to demonstrate proven experience in graduate recruitment gained within a large corporate environment (or equivalent), and will have been involved in the full life-cycle of early talent.



You will have had experience of team management, line management, coaching and developing team members, and giving feedback and delivering appraisals. 



You will have had experience of project management, with the ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders, manage expectations and communicate progress effectively.



You will understand how to demonstrate the business impact of recruitment via measures and metrics.



You will have strong technical skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.  



You will have strong planning and organisational skills and demonstrate strong attention to detail.



You will have excellent communication skills with proven experience of building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.



You will also be experienced in providing solutions to often complex issues.
