Job Overview


Managing the Graduate Talent Schools strategy to position our firm as employer of choice for 16-18 year olds wishing to pursue a career in commercial law and to ensure a strong pipeline into our graduate programme.


Who you will work with


The Graduate Recruitment team, reporting to the Head of Graduate Talent. The Education Managers, Academy, D&I and CSR teams. Management of our external strategic partner relationships.  


What you will be responsible for


You will be responsible for the management of our Graduate Talent schools brand, with a specific focus on our 'access to the profession' flagship programme ACCESS.


You are responsible for delivering the graduate talent schools strategy and ensuring a strong return on investment from our activity. 


You will effectively coordinate the delivery of our graduate talent schools  related policies, processes, procedures and services to meet the needs of the firm.


You will provide specialist advice and dedicated support to meet the resource needs determined by the Head of Graduate Talent and Senior Management.


You will provide deep specialist knowledge in graduate talent schools strategies and be recognised as the specialist within HR.


What you will do


You will develop our graduate talent schools offering and be responsible for crafting our proposition as employer of choice and subsequent marketing activities through collaboration with the Graduate Marketing Manager.


You will maintain and monitor our selection strategies, to ensure return on investment and to ensure the firm continues to hire exceptional candidates onto its graduate talent schools programme.


You will manage the entirety of the two-year ACCESS programme, focusing on exceptional candidate experience, maximising ROI and ensuring a strong pipeline into our graduate programme. This includes full management of the ACCESS alumni (appox 200-300 students).


You will manage the relationships with our key strategic partners ensuring delivering of the SLAs. You will manage the annual impact reviews and be responsible for negotiating contracts.


You will manage the relationship with our key partner schools and their relevant management teams and look to maximise opportunities to strengthen our relationship and the pipelines into our programmes.


You will investigate and advise on new programme offerings to ensure we attract and hire the best talent and remain on top of industry best practice.


As subject matter expert, you will be the spokesperson for the firm at external events and media requests.


You will produce and manage all graduate talent schools related statistical analysis (with the support of third parties) and dissemination to key stakeholders.


You will monitor and report on financial expenditure for the graduate talent schools strategy and ensure that the spend remains in budget and is in line with relevant policies.


You will work closely with the CSR team to develop synergies with our current outreach programmes.


You will regularly report on progress of projects to the Head of Graduate Talent.

Your career experience so far


You will be able to demonstrate proven experience in graduate recruitment and schools programmes gained within a large corporate environment (or equivalent).


You will have had experience of project management, with the ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders, manage expectations and communicate progress effectively.


You will understand how to demonstrate the business impact of recruitment via measures and metrics.


You will have strong technical skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. 


You will have strong planning and organisational skills and demonstrate strong attention to detail.



You will have excellent communication skills with proven experience of building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


You will also be experienced in providing solutions to often complex issues.

8 month Fixed Term contract. This role would be considered as full-time or 4 days per week.
