GENERAL SUMMARY:


Successful candidate will be a team player who is self-motivated, with experience in planning and deploying application upgrades and acting as Service Center third level support. In addition, the ability to multi-task and handle multiple issues and upgrades simultaneously, as well as the ability to accept mentoring from others and quickly adapt suggested improvements is required. This position requires the insight necessary to identify roadblocks and reach out to others for assistance to resolve issues.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade regional applications. Escalate Global application issues to relevant support team.
  • Provide desktop computing customer service and support.
  • Handle all problems escalated from 1st and 2nd level Support and resolve all issues. As issues need to be escalated to Engineering, work  with local and Global  Engineering team, as well as the Vendor, to remediate all issues.
  • Coordinate with testing and client services team on high lighting user experience for software upgrade and deployment.
  • Configure and manage software Package Distribution via SCCM.
  • Create and maintain related documentation and knowledge base.
  • Maintain regional application  profiles and application upgrade roadmap.
  • Coordinate  and document the proper desktop build steps and procedures.
  • Make recommendations for desktop performance improvements.
  • Technical expertise on Desktop and Citrix Management and troubleshooting.
  • Review new software requests for installation, document application integration steps, track off-site packaging requests and plan deployment.
  • Attend weekly Global Desktop/ Application status meetings with prepared status report and provide updates to Supervisor.
  • Deployment Management of software and end user devices.
  • Responsible for regional application upgrades and escalated trouble tickets.
 
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 2 years of IT troubleshooting in a professional services firm and/or law firm experience a plus.
  • Minimum  2 years of  planning and supporting a desktop application portfolio.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows 10 operating system and Application integration including Microsoft Office, and a working knowledge of Citrix, Scripting, Microsoft SCCM (or Altiris), basic TCP/IP networking experience desired.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong customer service focus through clear recognition and understanding of clients and their expectations.
  • Able to work effectively  with clients, IT management, technical staff and consultants; tailoring their style to meet the needs of individuals at various levels.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • At least two years' experience in a Desktop support role performing desktop/application integration and troubleshooting, diagnostics, research, and evaluation and/or interaction with IT staff or vendors in testing and operational support of complex system hardware and software problems and documentation of solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in a support and application maintenance role.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Interested in learning new technologies with a readiness to participate in Infrastructure projects.
  • Displays flexibility and adaptability in the workplace.
  • Must be independently legally authorized to work in the United States.
