An exciting opportunity has
arisen to join the firm as aDeputy Manager-Sourcing. Working with the Global
Recruitment team based in London, and HR teams around the network, this
role will be based in Delhi and will offer a dedicated
direct sourcing and talent pipelining
role for the firm, working across the network.

Job Purpose |
As a member of the global
Recruitment team, the Deputy Manager-Sourcing will build an effective,
efficient and successful candidate sourcing service for the firm. Working
with HR teams around the network, the Deputy Manager-Sourcing is responsible for proactive sourcing against agreed role/vacancy
profiles,
including developing market intelligence. They will
source candidates via social media, networking, LinkedIn, Revael, candidate portals and
CV databases. They
will be responsible for initial candidate qualification
and screening, before providing a longlist or shortlist as directed.
They will work within tight and specified timeframes. The Deputy
Manager-Sourcing will be expected to work flexibility, allowing
candidate contact across various time zones, and to make themselves available
for briefings with colleagues in overseas offices.
The
Deputy Manager-Sourcing will
spend at least half of their time on desk based research and candidate
sourcing and candidate approach. They will spend a quarter of their time
presenting candidate shortlists and working with HR/Recruitment contacts
around the network, and the remaining quarter of their time building
pipelines for future recruitment and working on recruitment/HR related
projects. The
main clients for the Deputy Manager-Sourcing are HR/Recruitment
teams across the network. From time to
time, the Deputy
Manager-Sourcing will
also act as the candidate contact during the selection process. |
Key Responsibilities |
Key responsibilities will
be split into the following: Sourcing Following a methodical process
you will be: ·
Responsible for proactive sourcing against agreed
role profiles when approached by local HR teams for requisitions that are
live ·
Responsible for pipeline identification of
profiles for requisitions that are not yet live or confirmed, but where there
is a business need for future growth ·
Source matching candidate profiles via social
media, Revael, networking, LinkedIn, application tracking system and CV
databases and other sources ·
Maintain clear records of reviewed, approached and qualified profiles
within a secure environment, and longlisted, and shortlisted candidates
within Taleo ·
Measure effectiveness and success of profiles
submitted to local teams, following up on approaches, interviews and offers
made ·
Where
required, conducting telephone interviews and review of skills and experience
as part of the qualification process before submitting a candidate to the
HR/Recruitment team ·
Closing the candidates on salary/ rata
expectations and ensure all aspects of the qualification process has been
covered, including notice period, interviews, holidays etc ·
Ensure that the candidate fully understands the
selection process, the next steps and the timeframe for the recruitment ·
Contact and interview prospective candidates and
retain audit trail of contact ·
Be
comfortable managing and reacting efficiently to fast paced recruitment ·
Where possible, retain contact with candidates
placed via direct recruitment ·
Maintaining and refining networks through ongoing
candidate relationship management ·
Ensuring
that all candidate contact promotes the Clifford Chance as an Employer of
choice ·
Building
direct talent pools for key volume roles or high volume recruiting
teams, utilising knowledge from the
HR/Recruitment contacts, using CRM tools as appropriate ·
Providing regular weekly updates to the Global
Recruitment team, and to certain HR/Recruitment contacts throughout the
network on the strength of direct talent pools and sourcing progress against
specific roles ·
Provide regular reporting on direct recruitment
activity ·
Working with the Global Head of Recruitment to
develop innovative sourcing techniques Process ·
Responsible for
maintaining the prospective candidate database and the applicant tracking
system ·
Responsible for submitting
as agreed, either longlist candidates (partially qualified) or shortlist
candidates (fully qualified) to the Recruitment/HR contact managing the
vacancy ·
Work closely with
colleagues in the Recruitment team, to manage high volume of activity, in a
timely fashion, using processes effectively ·
Understand your key
deliverables and metrics, to ensure that details of the process and outputs
can be measured and reported on as necessary ·
Respond to a range of
queries and carry out more complex procedures ·
Continually monitor the
efficiency and effectiveness of the team's processes and suggest/implement
improvements ·
Every week check for new
requisitions and proactively contact the relevant local office to offer to
assist with sourcing ·
Weekly check of jobs
rotation on sites such as LinkedIn, Indeed to ensure a fair distribution of
job postings ·
Regular check of job
postings on social sourcing People ·
Develop and manage strong
relations with internal and external stakeholders ·
Provide HR
contacts with professional direction and guidance enabling them to
manage recruitment and process of
direct sourced candidates ·
Share information, advice and expert knowledge with
other team members ·
Engage with potential, passive and active candidates
on a daily basis ·
Telephone / video interview
candidates and prospective candidates for live roles and for pipeline
generation ·
Maintain a
strong understanding of the firm's employer brand and key stakeholders Projects Work on a number of global
recruitment and sourcing projects, relating but not limited to the sourcing
of candidates. |
Experience:
·
Overall 5+ years of experience with
at least 3 years of experience in global sourcing and recruitment
- Experience of recruitment research within a recruitment
agency or search firm would be desirable
- You will have had considerable experience of
sourcing candidates directly through social media and relevant job boards
- Experience of working in fast paced
environment and to targets and deadlines essential
- You will have had experience of interviewing
candidates and managing candidate through the selection process
- You will have had experience in using your
judgement to provide solutions to complex problems
Knowledge:
- You will have significant knowledge of
Recruitment sourcing and the varying methods available
- You will ideally have a good understanding of
a professional services environment
