This role demands a candidate who thrives when working under pressure, is a self-starter, able to offer the Partners strategic guidance and to present to diverse teams with credibility, while being able to manage a large, global team and to create and deliver practical solutions to implement the firm's strategy.

 

Desired experience
  • You will have substantive and impressive experience and  a demonstrable track record in HR and team management.
  • Ideally you will have operated in a similar Global Head of role for an organisation of a global complex nature.
  • Ideally you will have experience of change management, and driving change management programmes  and communications in a global organisation;
  • Experience of HR transformation projects would be an advantage;
  • Strong demonstrable track record of team leadership within a professional services organisation at a similar level of seniority, including:
    • Recruiting and managing high performing teams
    • Mentoring and developing high potential individuals across a range of locations in a matrix environment
    • Building support for and motivating delivery against shared goals across a complex, matrixed team
    • Sensitive and effective conflict resolution
  • Experience of working in a professional services structure.
  • Experience working effectively and co-operatively with senior stakeholders, across borders and in a matrixed organisation.
Other Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
 
Location of the role
 
As an international and global law firm, the successful candidate appointed into this role could be based in any one of five of our office locations which are: Frankfurt, London, New York, Singapore or Hong Kong. Please specify your preferred location in your application.
