What we are looking for

We currently have three vacancies for 6-month internship positions as of March 2020, with the possibility of extending the contract.

The aim of the internship is to offer an insight in how it is to practice antitrust law at Clifford Chance.

Job Details

The lawyers in our competition/antitrust practice assist clients with merger clearance matters, when necessary through phase II and in the European Courts, as well as complex abuse of dominance and cartel investigations, and provide compliance advice. They also assist governments and institutions in the context of state aid notifications and investigations. 


Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must have an excellent academic record, a demonstrable interest in practicing competition law, be business minded and client focused, and be completely fluent in written and spoken English.  They should also have a good command of a second European language.  Experience in competition law is a valuable asset.  Candidates need not yet be EU qualified lawyers, but should have a clear path towards EU qualification.

We will only consider candidates with up to two years' experience.
