Key responsibilities

This is a globally shared service center, which provides support to our client, Clifford Chance LLP, across 33+ offices worldwide. 

In this role you will be required to lead a team and:

  • Responsible for daily/weekly and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts; ensure timely and accurate publishing of Reconciliations;
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger;
  • Perform detailed review, analysis, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and financial information.
  • Possess strong technical skills to navigate and manage different systems as well as strong problem-solving skills;
  • Daily interaction with internal team members and stakeholders;
  • To be the knowledge holder and the recognized expert in the specified field of Accounting close like, General Ledger Account Analysis (calculating and posting accruals and prepayments, analysis of direct and indirect costs, entity consolidation, cost allocation and account reconciliations);
  • Sound knowledge of Fixed Assets accounting and GL close activities;
  • Monitoring and review of Cashflow & Bank Reconciliations;
  • Analysis and clearing of the Aged/ Open Items standing in the Reconciliations ;
  • Coordinate with different teams and ensure follow up action as and when necessary;
  • Preparing and circulating the management reports;
  • Expert knowledge of accounting systems (Preferably Oracle / HFM);
  • To ensure that all required controls in operational process are adhered to in compliance with Group's policies and procedures. Co-ordinate the timing submission of the monthly control checklist.

Skills & Experience

  • MBA finance/CA Inter with 4+ years of experience
  • Experience in Oracle Cash Management Reconciliation
  • Strong Leadership capabilities with a record of developing individuals in small to medium teams.
  • Six Sigma Certification will be added advantage
  • Team handling experience is a must.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills required.
