The Procurement Reporting professional is responsible for end-to-end management of reporting and spend analysis initiatives aimed at improving profitability and monitoring financial performance of Procurement in the firm. You will be helping in analysing, extracting and blending data that will provide business insights, helping to discover information hidden in huge data sources. You will integrate technology, data insights and digital experience to empower decision making for transformation. You will be using vast span of skills like advanced excel, VBA, SQL, Power-BI, and business communication/leadership. You must be able to do exploratory data analysis to navigate a dataset and present some broad conclusions based on some initial consideration. It is a fast-moving business & technical environment, you will need to not only be hands-on but also explain to others your ideas and the design and integration of the solutions.

As a member of the wider Procurement team the reporting professional is expected to contribute to ongoing Procurement improvement reviews and may be required to pick up additional activities outside of the category scope of this role.

 

This role may require infrequent travel to other Clifford Chance global offices but it is expected that most work will be undertaken within the Delhi office.

The candidate will primarily be required to fulfil the below responsibilities, but these are subject to change/expand/evolve in response to business needs:

 

·        Creating reporting templates and capture spend analysis

  • Analyse current and historical data to bring out insights & provide actionable recommendations by applying qualitative reasoning on the quantitative output
  • Drive the development of Excel & Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reporting utilizing multiple data sources that may include but not restricted to SQL and MS access databases, ERP and procurement Systems.
  • Create meaningful data visualizations communicating your findings and relate them insights creating business impact

·        Design innovative analytical and management reporting tools for decision making

  • Dealing with messy & difficult real-life data imperfections and data cleanliness

·        Assist with change management activities, process improvement and system efficiencies in order to improve service quality

  • Develop flexible solutions that will ensure scalability and adaptability of tools and processes
  • Continually evaluate and optimize BI dashboards and reporting for accuracy, performance and relevance
  • Develop potential reports and dashboards using end user journey approach and provide relevant insights to business heads

·        Plan and lead calls with wider procurement teams independently while working on projects

·        Proactive and reactive delivery to global Procurement team on various key projects

·        Continuous improvement approach to automate reporting and reducing the cycle time to increase efficiency over time

Professional Expertise

·        Any Graduate/Post Graduate with 3 years of experience, working with a multinational organisation

·        MCIPS or an equivalent recognised procurement qualification in India, is desirable

Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook)
